Founded in 1928, Sea Island is a private coastal Georgia resort island, five miles in length, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and wide salt marshes.
Thomas & Hutton performed complete civil engineering design services for the world-class, residential subdivisions and pristine golf courses of Sea Island. Thomas & Hutton also worked on the beach renourishment, The Cloister, a hotel resort complex, and the new golf course at Frederica Township.
Thomas & Hutton assisted Sea Island in the development of the facilities that hosted the G-8 Summit in 2004, the Walker Cup, and the USB Warburg Cup.
